"Get-Connected"...is an international internet-based support and self-help forum for primary caregivers of patients with an eating disorder. Our chat-forum aims to provide a non-judgmental and safe environment for primary caregivers of eating disordered patients to share feelings, thoughts and experiences. In weekly administered chat-sessions, guided by a professional for eating disorders, primary caregivers can give and receive support from others who may go through the same difficulties. With this project we aim to provide support for primary caregivers of patients with an eating disorder and enhance their life quality. |
